Deadline for advertising in the Classifieds Marketplace is Noon Thursday.
All ads must be paid for in advance. There will be no credit given once the ads are published.
Advertisers should check their ads the first week they appear. The Herald-News is not responsible for failure to print an ad or for typographic error, except to the extent of the first insertion. Adjustment for error is limited to the cost of the part of the ad where the error occurred. The publisher reserves the right to accept, reject and/or edit any and all advertising submitted for publication.
Private party advertising rates are 16 cents per word. You may pay for two weeks in advance and run your ad free for a third week. (Sorry...no changes on these ads.) Blind ads are the cost of the ad plus $5 for the first week, $1 each consecutive week box fee, 20-word minimum charge.
Business advertisers should contact their sales representative for information on business rates and discounts.
Classified ads can be sent by , phone, fax or snail mail. Remember to include billing information. We accept Discover, Master Card and Visa credit cards. To process credit card billing we will need the following:
- Name of card holder
- Credit Card Number
- Expiration date
When sending classified ads, please include the information requested on our Classified form.
