ROSCOMMON COUNTY — After spirited discussion at a public hearing regarding winter lake levels for the county’s three lakes, the Roscommon County Board of Commissioners voted to table any decision on the matter until its Nov. 26 meeting.
The commissioners made that decision at a Nov. 7 public hearing, in which several community members voiced their beliefs on what the board should do to monitor winter lake levels, particularly at Higgins Lake.
“I think we have to walk away from here today with a decision as to what we’re going to do,” said Vice Chairman Ed Nellist.
