ROSCOMMON — The Village of Roscommon is continuing to receive feedback on its proposed Master Plan from surrounding agencies.
Rob Eggers, a Senior Planner at Spicer Group, Inc. in Saginaw, was on hand at the council’s Nov. 10 meeting to talk about the village’s proposed Master Plan. Eggers said he understands that the village wants to update the Master Plan in as cost-effective a manner as possible.
With that in mind, in a Oct. 1 E-mail to Gromek, Eggers suggested breaking down the Master Plan’s Table of Contents as follows: Introduction and History, Community Characteristics, Existing Land Use, Community Input, Goals, Future Land Use, and Implementation Plan. In addition, Eggers suggested the village could work on the following items in-house: Introduction and History, Community Characteristics, Community Input, and Implementation Plan, while Spicer Group could assist with Existing Land Use, Goals, and Future Land Use.
He said a good master plan consists of “a good community plan with input from citizens, then you map it out.”
