Houghton Lake district to turn to MASB for help in superintendent search

HOUGHTON LAKE — The Houghton Lake Community Schools will be turning to an outside firm in its efforts to find a replacement for Superintendent Pete Injasoulian.

The board, by a unanimous vote at its Nov. 17 meeting, agreed to contract with the Michigan Association of School Boards’ consulting service for assistance in finding a new superintendent. Injasoulian will be retiring from the Houghton Lake District effective July 1, 2009.
